Specjalistyczne Gospodarstwo Roślin Jagodowych (The Specialist Berry Plant Farm) is a family nursery business that was established in 1984. Currently, it is run jointly by Jerzy Olczyk and his son Łukasz Olczyk.

At the beginning, we were involved in the production of planting material for strawberries. However, we expanded our offer gradually to include new species of berry plants. Currently, we offer in wholesale as many as 14 species in bulk, including: raspberries, blackberries, haskap berries, blueberries, cranberries, gooseberries, saskatoons, balloon berries, tayberries, chokeberries, mulberries, blackcurrants, white and red currants, sea buckthorns and lingonberries. We have the exclusive right to propagate the lingonberry varieties: Sanna, Sussi, Linnea, as well as lowbush blueberry: Emil,  Putte  and highbush blueberry varieties:  Pelle, Olle.  In addition, we have sublicenses for the reproduction and sale of the following raspberry varieties:  Jantar, Delniwa, Heban, Promyk, Gloria, as well as a very promising new Husaria variety  grown by our company Niwa Hodowla Roślin Jagodowych Sp. z o.o. transformed in 2012 from the “JAGODNIK” group, which dealt with breeding of new strawberry varieties. At present, its activity has been extended to the cultivation of other berry plants (highbush blueberries, haskap berries, raspberries, blackberries and others).

We also cooperate with Tadeusz Kusibab’s Gospodarstwo Ogrodnicze i Laboratorium Kultur Tkankowych (Horticultural Farm and In Vitro Tissue Culture Laboratory). Thanks to cooperation with Mr. Kusibab, we have the opportunity to expand our rich offer with new, valuable varieties of berry plants.
